Why Data Analysis?

" You give people Data, You give them power."

Its a corny internet quote. But I strongly believe in it. Although my colleague says it have to be "Information" in place of "Data". But I believe, if you want to make a real impact on the thinking of people, show them the data. Because it is raw fact. If its simple enough, they will figure it out. But if its not, and as per my observation most of the data today is not. Even if it is, people always like the simplified version. They need you to process it and then you prove the worth of both your data and yourself. May be you do not agree with me. But I like to take the longer and step by step path to success. And in my opinion real success is when your data start making impact in people's lives. They start understanding there own harmful patterns that lead to unsustainable future.
This is the first Blog of this series. I have created this solely for list my findings and projects.
Also the soul purpose of writing this blog is to let the job interviewers see my programming work.
Although the name of the blog is ROUGE ANALYTICS we will possibly talk about everything that can vary from Games to Analytics to Big Data.

Gaming in Pygame

Game Development in python using Pygame is fun. Its a library that constitutes almost all the functions that can help us create a decent game. This is the code for a game called catalicious that I created using Pygame library. Its not a very elegant game in my opinion but a fine attempt on gaming. This have given me a really strong understanding of how to create simple concept games. I was looking into KIVY library before starting this game in pygame. I found Pygame easier to implement. Although the next attempt will be in kivy, I am not sure what to comment exactly as I dont know how well KIVY library can perform as far as gaming is concerned. In my opinion KIVY is more sophisticated library as compared to Pygame in terms of more built in functions. Please let me know in comments what do you think about it.
